The Boghossian Foundation presents an exceptional charity concert featuring Gor Sujyan, the iconic lead singer of the Armenian rock band Dorians, in support of SOAR (Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief). This unique evening will help raise funds to support SOAR’s humanitarian work for orphaned Armenian children.
Gor Sujyan will perform as part of his One Man Bandproject, an immersive experience where, alone on stage, he blends voice, guitar, and original orchestrations to take the audience on an intimate musical journey. His repertoire includes timeless classics ranging from Charles Aznavour to Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder.

Our Ambassador Hovhannes Virabyan presented Armenia, its historical approach, Armenia today, and moreover, Artsakh past, present and hopefully the right to return.

SOAR Buenos Aires Chapter President Luciana Minassian has been visiting and contacting mothers from Yerablur and Abovyan (2020 and September 2022 fallen soldiers).
Recently she visited Armine Sirekanyan, from Abovyan region visiting the cemetery on November 5th, 2023. Her two sons were fighting alongside each other on September 13th, 2022, Shah lost his life and Karen survived the attack.
Next, she went straight to Anush Sahakyan´s home. Her son Erik lost his life during the 2020 Artsakh War.
Luciana texts with Mariam, who is the daughter of Susanna Grigoryan, from September´s 2022 female fallen combatants and visited her grave.

SOAR Glendale/La Canada Chapter held a premier showing of “Suitcase to Home”, produced by the Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) and Andrew Simonian.
Andrew attended the event with a Q&A after the showing. Comments from Andrew:
The screening in Pasadena last night went very well, in a beautiful theater at the AGBU Cultural Center. Elina and Amalia gave a wonderful introduction to SOAR. They then called me up and asked me to say a few words to the audience about the movie.
The screening was very impactful. Several people had to step out in the middle because they were too emotional or in tears. The film’s story and message are definitely connecting.
