JULY
The family of Levon Manukyan was displaced from Artsakh and is currently engaged in agricultural activities in Kapan.
Recently, a landslide damaged the water supply system serving their farmland, placing the family at serious risk of losing their upcoming harvest. This situation could have had a significant impact on the family’s income and further aggravate their socio-economic challenges.
SOAR provided the family with a water pump to irrigate their land and prevent the loss of their crops.
Before receiving this assistance, the family had appealed to both governmental and non-governmental organizations for support in obtaining a water pump, but unfortunately, they had not received a response.
Levon and Lala sincerely express their heartfelt gratitude for the prompt response to their request and for this vital assistance. The water pump has enabled them to irrigate their land, protect their harvest, and continue supporting their family through agriculture.

Javakh Summer Camp
Javakhk Camp Program began on July 1 and will continue through July 14 with 52 participants this year.
This is the 8th year that SOAR has supported this camp.
The Javakhk Summer Camp is of great importance, as it helps strengthen the national identity of Armenian children from Javakhk by providing them with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Armenian culture, history, language and traditions. At the same time, the camp promotes physical activity, encourages a healthy lifestyle, fosters social and communication skills, builds teamwork and creates lasting friendships. Through a diverse program of educational, cultural, recreational and sports activities, participants gain new knowledge, valuable experiences and unforgettable memories that contribute to their personal growth and strengthen their connection to their Armenian heritage.

Warm Hearth Sewing Program
During the first phase of the sewing program, the residents of our three group homes actively participated in the training sessions. In addition to providing meaningful engagement and helping them acquire new skills, the program enabled them to meet some of their primary needs.
Specifically, completed bed linen sets were sewn for all residents of the Tairov Group Home; face towels were sewn for the residents of all three group homes; bedspreads were sewn for the Arshakunyats Group Home; bath towels were sewn for the residents of the Arrinj Group Home; and kitchen towels were sewn for all three homes.
In addition, the sewing workshop is actively used for alterations and adjustments of newly purchased clothing for the residents, which is also an important and necessary service.
The residents participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm and enjoyment because, beyond staying engaged, they are able to independently contribute to meeting their own needs, which is highly motivating and empowering for them.

To: Executive Director of SOAR Charitable Foundation Ms. Hripsime Muradyan
CC: Founder President of SOAR Charitable Foundation Mr. George Yacoubian
Dear Ms. Muradyan,
On the occasion of the Holy Easter, the SOAR Charitable Foundation extended its support to around 40 lonely elderly individuals and persons with disabilities living in Vanadzor and nearby villages.
This support is truly vital for them. Many of the beneficiaries live in extremely poor conditions—in houses or temporary shelters—often lacking even basic living necessities. Therefore, the assistance provided was extremely necessary and timely, significantly easing their daily hardships.
The beneficiaries express their deep gratitude for SOAR’s care and attention. Each of them conveys heartfelt thanks and best wishes to the Foundation’s leadership.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to SOAR for continuously supporting our beneficiaries and contributing to the improvement of their living conditions.
Respectfully and with gratitude,
