Hosted by SOAR South Florida, with our community partner Armenian Film Society (AFS) this is the first of many screenings that bridge Yerevan & Armenian Cinema to Fort Lauderdale.
On Wednesday, December 17th at the historic Savor Cinema, in Fort Lauderdale we’re hosting the South Florida red carpet premiere of A Winter’s Song, a groundbreaking American Christmas romantic comedy shot entirely in Armenia with a diaspora cast.
Think Hallmark holiday charm… but with Yerevan’s festive markets.

It tells the story of Liana, an aspiring singer rediscovering her roots through music, love, and Armenian heritage. Shot in iconic locations like Geghard Monastery, and beyond, the film celebrates our culture vibrancy, traditions, and emotional depth, while appealing to a broad, international audience.
This is more than a film screening and a fundraiser. By hosting this screening, we aim to introduce Armenian narratives to new markets, fostering cultural awareness
This is an initiative that unites the American Armenian community in South Florida and welcomes non-Armenians and film enthusiasts into a joyful, authentic glimpse of everything Armenia has to offer today: breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, world-class music, warm hospitality, and stories that make you laugh, cry, and want to book a ticket to Yerevan tomorrow. Discover the power of Armenian cinema and music in an unforgettable evening designed to unite our community and inspire the next generation of storytellers.
