SOAR - San Diego Chapter

San Diego joined the SOAR family in March 2013. Spanish for “Saint Didacus,” San Diego is the eighth most populous city in the United States. The city is known for its mild year-round Mediterranean climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches and parks, long association with the United States Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. Between 5,000 and 7,000 Armenians are estimated to live in the San Diego area.
