SOAR Harrisburg is raising funds for the family of wounded soldier Sergey Karapetyan, a champion of the European SAMBO Cup. Sergey and his family are currently in Thessaloniki Greece undergoing recovery treatment after brain surgery.  The family is financially challenged having spent all they had to transfer Sergey to Greece and pay for surgery. The doctors are projecting at least six months of recovery treatment at a cost of $16K each month. Sergey’s father says that Sergey is making good progress. After surgery, he started reacting emotionally to events by smiling and crying. He is currently nonverbal and using his eyes to communicate. Please pray for Sergey’s fast recovery and that the funds needed to continue his treatment can be raised! 🙏
