Anahit, Arsen, and Artak Baghdasaryan

In the beginning of 2022 SOAR purchased the apartment the Baghdasaryan had been renting for the past five years also with SOAR support. A nice housewarming was organized with a local priest blessing the house and the family. Unfortunately, the father passed away a couple of months later as he has been seriously ill for a few years. The two elder boys are working day and night to help the mother pay all the bills. The elder son Artak will soon be called for military service. The middle son Arsen is getting music education at the music college because of the dhol classes he participated in at Orran. Anahit the youngest child is still getting services at Vanadzor Orran Center. Ruzanna, the mother, works at a bakery, although she has also health problems.

Anna, Mariam, and Ruzanna Mkrtchyan

SOAR continues to pay rent for the Mkrtchyan family. SOAR also paid for psychological sessions for Mariam Mkrtchyan who was struggling with some behavior issues.
Ruzanna Mkrtchyan received analysis and examinations as her health condition is deteriorating at the moment. The mother took Ruzanna to Georgia for a CT scan. The found that she has a cyst in her head and the vessel going to her head is damaged which has caused Ruzanna to lose her senses from time to time. She needs additional examinations for her adrenal glands, and her mother is searching for a hospital to have these tests performed.
Both Anna and Ruzanna are attending Orran daycare center. Mariam was attending dhol classes which really helped her psychologically.

Nane is now 2 years and 2 months! She is improving but continues to have struggles. She also under the supervision of an endocrinologist because one of her thyroid glands has been removed and she is taking hormone medicine.  Nane has an appointment scheduled with an ophthalmologist because she has been experiencing vision problems.
