SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER
We are launching a scholarship fundraising effort to uplift three extraordinary young adults in Armenia whose lives reflect courage, perseverance, and a profound desire to serve their homeland.
These students have overcome significant challenges — the loss of a parent, financial hardship, relocation, or the need to work while studying — yet they continue to excel academically and contribute to their communities. Their stories span fields such as medicine, international law, global communication, and public service. Some are training to become physicians committed to improving healthcare access in rural regions. Others are pursuing advanced legal studies with the goal of representing Armenia in international institutions. Still others are preparing for careers in global communication and management, aiming to strengthen Armenia’s ties with international partners, businesses, and educational institutions.
Despite their diverse paths, they share a powerful common thread: education as a path to service, leadership, and meaningful societal impact.
Their determination to rise above hardship and use their knowledge for the benefit of Armenia is both inspiring and deeply worthy of support.

Nane Asriyan is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Law at Yerevan State University, building on her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the same university. Her educational path has been shaped by significant personal responsibility and perseverance: after losing her father at age seven, she later relocated from her region to Yerevan, lived in rented housing, and combined work with her studies.
During her undergraduate studies, Nane completed a professional internship at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. She hopes to combine her background in international relations with advanced legal training and pursue a career in diplomacy, international organizations, or public institutions.
Her long-term goal is to represent Armenia in international settings, contribute to international cooperation, and use her education in service of Armenia and society.

Samvel Harutyunyan is preparing to pursue an undergraduate degree in Communication (Global Communication and Management) at Zhejiang University in China. His academic interests combine communication, management, international cooperation, and the practical application of knowledge.
During school, Samvel studied with an economics focus, served as a member of his school council, and participated in volunteer and team initiatives. His experience includes environmental and social projects, research related to pesticide use in Armenia, and environmental initiatives
connected with COP17, where he also coordinated small groups of volunteers.
Samvel’s long-term goal is to build a career in international communication and management and apply the knowledge and relationships gained abroad to Armenia’s development. He hopes to work with projects and organizations that connect Armenia with international partners, businesses, and educational institutions, while representing Armenia positively in international settings.

Anna Siradeghyan is a physician and clinical resident in Neurology at Yerevan State Medical University. Raised in the village of Sevkar in Armenia’s Tavush region, Anna describes a lifelong commitment to overcoming personal challenges through education, discipline, and service to others.
After entering medical university on a tuition-paying basis, Anna’s strong academic performance enabled her to transfer to tuition-free study after her first year and continue on that basis through the completion of her sixth year. She has also been actively involved in volunteer work at the university and in medical organizations.
Anna entered clinical residency in Neurology in 2024. Alongside her studies, she works with Yerevan Emergency Medical Service (1-03). She plans to practice medicine in an Armenian region after completing residency and emphasizes the importance of access to quality medical care regardless of where a patient lives.
