FINANCIAL PLANNING PROGRAM

While learning budgeting is not a high priority for most teenagers, teaching money management skills is as essential to a child’s development as reminding them to brush their teeth and eat their vegetables. Everyone needs to be smart about money. Because the school systems in Armenia lack financial literacy curricula, the responsibility for ensuring orphaned Armenian children have a stable financial life rests on the shoulders of orphanage directors and volunteers across the world who are willing and able to assist. The Financial Planning Program (FPP), established in June 2015, provides education to orphaned Armenian children in the areas of budgeting, employment, identity theft, and money management.
