Many sporting events are held in Baku, but those participating are unaware of the tragedy that continues to unfold just beyond the event barriers. As many as 23 Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) remain detained in in Azerbaijan, some for nearly five years, despite international calls for their release.

We are sending letters along with the signatures from this petition to the teams participating to bring awareness of this tragedy and are asking them to help us bring light to this. The more signatures we can obtain, the greater likelihood we will get a response, and pray we can bring these men home!

We are uniting with other organizations that are working toward getting a release of our Armenian brothers.
